Routine, Quality Content Is Essential for Websites

Many website owners and search engine optimization (SEO) specialists have heard the phrase “content is king” over and over throughout the years. That is because quality content is what drives a site, and is the main factor that has withstood any and all algorithm updates from search engines.

In addition to having good content, it should be updated and/or added to on a routine basis. One of the best ways to do this today is by maintaining a blog on your site, and by adding new posts regularly. This can be a couple times per month, or it can be every day. If you provide valuable information to your customers or readers, then they will want to share this information, comment on it and continue to come back to see what you have to say next.

Entire businesses have been built and fueled by blogging, and companies as well as individuals have been looked upon as experts in their chosen fields as a result of sharing their ideas, information and opinions on their blogs.

We help numerous companies maintain their blogs by writing content for them, posting it and sharing it across their social networks. The results of these simple actions are incredible in many cases. I frequently lament to myself how I spend all my time providing content for others and none, or very little for myself! The most important thing is that they’re happy, and so far we are very thankful for our clients and the referrals they send us.

I must add that content can take numerous forms. Audio and visual content can be just as important, and even more so in some cases when it comes to social sharing and getting some of your messages out among the masses, or at least your core market. The point is that content, and specifically the quality of it provided at a high enough quantity and frequency can make or break your business.

If you have a business or organization that needs help developing content and getting your messages heard, whether online or through other distribution channels, contact Catton Communications today to see how we can help.
