Many small businesses have indeed become frustrated when trying to compete with larger companies online, but it just means they have to work smarter. Routine, Quality Content Is Essential for Websites

Many website owners and search engine optimization (SEO) specialists have heard the phrase "content is king" over and over throughout the years. That is because quality content is what drives a site, and is the main factor that has withstood any and all algorithm updates from search engines.

In addition to having good content, it should be updated and/or added to on a routine basis. One of the best ways to do this today is by maintaining a blog on your site, and by adding new posts regularly. This can be a couple times per month, or it can be every day. If you provide valuable information to your customers or readers, then they will want to share this information, comment on it and continue to come back to see what you have to say next.
